This letter of recommendation is being written in the behalf of the ladies that work in the toddler room at the Lavender Patch Child Care Center.    It was a sincere pleasure and privilege to be asked to write this letter.

 

Ms. Kim is the lead teacher in the toddler room.  She has a positive attitude, truly cares for the children, and is a pleasure to work with as a parent.  She is often at LP in the morning when I drop my kids off and always has a welcome smile and hug for both of them.  She works with the students daily on their alphabet and numbers.  I was pleased to find out the other day that my 2 year old toddler can count to 10 and say his abc’s with only minimal assistance.   She takes pride in what my toddler is learning in her class and is truly pleased with his successes.

 

Ms. Jenny and Ms. Shai are both “kid magnets”.  I often see them giving the kids hugs and literally rolling around on the floor playing with them.  Ms. Jenny is very energetic and often tells me about my toddlers’ successes in the class for that day.   Ms. Shai has a constant smile on her face and is a positive presence.   It is obvious to me that they love the kids and are both positive roll models in the toddler class.

 

Ms. Kinesha is a fantastic worker at keeping things organized for the kids.  I often see her organizing bins and keeping things neat.  She keeps me well informed about my child’s day.  Ms. Kinesha also helps teach the kids and helps to make a very structured class.   She is very patient and soft spoken with the children and works well with them.

Again, I can’t say enough about how very impressed I am with your facility.  I appreciate you taking such good care of our girls all of these years.  We really do appreciate Lavender Patch because I feel very comfortable with how our children are being taken care of.  Our children love Lavender Patch and it is amazing to see how much they have grown and how much you have helped them grow.  Your patience with not only our children, but with a parent (me) who didn’t think that his daughter could do anything wrong.  I’m growing and learning too.  I appreciate your patience with Jaden and now I see that she is coming along better and better every day.  I had to really look at things and see that I was an enabler for her behavior.  I would tell her that things were okay even when she was not acting right.  I’m learning and it is hard when you have girls.  Daddy’s girls can kind of wrap him around their fingers.  I appreciate you molding my girls into good little girls.  I cannot express this enough. 

 

Also, I still am very touched by the doughnuts with daddy day.  That was a huge success because it made me feel really appreciated and it was a kind of surprise at the last minute which made it that much better.  I thought that it was very thoughtful and it started my entire Fathers Day weekend off right.  Thank you and your staff.  I know that I’m rambling but I was talking to Gwen about this last night and I just wanted to let you know that we appreciate you and your staff and everything that you do.  What you do not only affects our children but it affects us as well.  You make our lives that much easier.  Thank you.
